The handset is broken but this phone remains in place in Nassau as of February 2025. The phone bears the name of BaTelCo, the old name of BTC (Bahamas Telecommuications Company). The name (styled as "BATELCO" in the photo) stopped being used in 2002. Today, Batelco is a telecommunications company in Bahrain.
